- Alpha linoleic and linoleic acids
- Stearic acid and oleic acid
- Conjugated linoleic acid
- Palmitoleic acid
- Palmitic acid
Tallow is also antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory which helps treat extra dry and inflamed skin.
Directions:
1. If you are new to tallow, take a small amount and do a patch test on a small area of skin for any allergies or sensitive skin.
2. With clean, dry hands, start with a pea size amount and rub on lips and the surrounding area.
3. Can be used daily.
Tallow is relatively shelf stable, but we recommended using it within 6 months. You may keep it in the refrigerator to extend the life of your tallow balm. Store in a cool, dry place. Tallow WILL MELT if temperatures exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
